Historical Fencing is an activity that helps both physical and mental health.

A diverse group of training partners allows us to perform at our best.

Not only is a diverse group of training partners a benefit to modern swords fighters, its also accurate to the Historical European Martial Arts. In the second half of the 16th Century a fencing enthusiast by the name of Paulus Hector Mair compiled a massive book on fencing techniques. He hired talented artists to illustrate the book and used real fencers as the models. Included in the work we find that fencers were then, as now, a diverse group of people.

You don’t need to be a student of history, you don’t need to have roots that originate in Europe, you don’t need to be a man, or a woman. All you need, is to be a person who is interested in bettering themselves through training to become a sword fighter.
